mad about malachite

MALACHITE:

Named after the Greek word “mallow” for a green herb; Malachite is believed to be a protective stone and is referred to as ‘the mirror of the soul’; It can often be found with Azurite

THE MALACHITE INTERIOR DESIGN INSPIRATION:

Legendary Hollywood designer Tony Duquette’s impressive Dawnridge Beverly Hills estate. The maximalism ‘more is more’ design aesthetic is classic Duquette. Dawnridge was featured in the September 2012 issue of Lonny Magazine.

The Viceroy Miami, designed by Kelly Wearstler, is dripping in Malachite details – we particularly love the obelisks made to resemble the regal geode.

THE COLOR COMBINATION WE LOVE: AZURITE + MALACHITE

AZURITE + MALACHITE INTERIOR DESIGN INSPIRATION:

Our Bel Air Dining Table with the Louis Dining Chairs in a Navy Velvet would be perfectly complimented by a Malachite wallpaper or stone floor. The pairing would be absolutely sumptuous.
